Master Darts, Pleats and Tucks with Expert Guidance

Darts, pleats and tucks are part of the repertoire of techniques that create stability. Darts are one of the most basic structural elements in dressmaking. Pleats are controlled folds in a garment and have a similar role to darts in creating structure, but are different in that they are either partially or fully opened. Tucks are similar to pleats but require an extra finesse because of their reduced size. Effecting these requires an eye on precision because they have to be congruent.
